30 participants
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Undergraduate or graduate students from MIKTA member countries (including students on leave of absence)
Individuals with an understanding of MIKTA and multilateral diplomacy and a strong interest in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
Highly motivated individuals with strong English communication skills who aspire to become future global leaders
About MIKTA
MIKTA is a cross-regional consultative partnership established in 2013 by five middle-power countries:

Republic of Korea
Türkiye
Australia
The MIKTA Young Leaders’ Camp provides a unique opportunity for young people from the five member countries to discuss global challenges, exchange perspectives, and develop leadership skills through diplomacy-focused activities and intercultural engagement.
Program Highlights
1. Opening Ceremony & Expert Lectures
Gain insights from distinguished experts in diplomacy, international relations, and global governance.
2. MIKTA Mock Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) & Mock Foreign Ministers’ Meeting
Experience multilateral diplomacy firsthand through simulation-based discussions and negotiations.
3. Networking Session with the Diplomatic Corps in Korea
Engage directly with diplomats and foreign affairs professionals currently serving in Korea.
4. Thematic Field Trip
Participate in a field visit related to the camp’s key themes and objectives.
Note
All programs will be conducted entirely in English.
Accommodation will be provided only for participants residing outside the Seoul Capital Area (Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province) and for overseas participants.

Selection Process
Round 1: Document Screening
Review of application materials
Round 2: Interview
Domestic applicants: In-person interview
International applicants: Online interview via Zoom
Required Documents
Completed Google Forms application
Proof of university enrollment (e.g., certificate of enrollment or other official document confirming academic affiliation)
Optional: Letter of recommendation from a university, department, or academic supervisor
Final Results Announcement
June 23 (Tue), 2026 (subject to change)
Successful applicants will be notified individually.
